Barcelona thrash Daegu 5-0 in pre-season friendly

Barcelona, on Monday, ended their Asia tour with a big win, delivering a dominant performance and defeating South Korean side, Daegu FC, 5-0 in a preseason friendly encounter.

The Spanish giants showed their attacking depth with goals from Gavi (21’, 45+2’), Robert Lewandowski (27’), Álex Fernández (54’), and Marcus Rashford (65’) to seal the emphatic win.

Gavi opened the scoring in the 21st minute, before Lewandowski doubled the lead six minutes later.

The young midfielder then grabbed his brace just before halftime with a composed finish in added time.

Fernández made it four shortly after the restart, and Rashford completed the rout in the 65th minute, capping a flawless attacking display from the Catalan side.
